I did not manage to do a green St Patrick's Day mani this year, as Im still sporting Sally Hansen's Nail Prisms in Burgundy Orchid and Garnet Lapis. These multi-chromes are awesome and pretty hard to capture. Ugh. Give me more time....

Things are going on pretty slow here as I struggle with school work and my thesis... All will be over by end of April :)

Essence, the brand from Germany that gave us OPI's Catch me in your net and Orly's Halley's Comet dupe is in TOWN! I spotted one promotional shelf, with Colour & Go as well as Metallics Series (Scream YAY) with makeup as well at Bugis BHG :D

Will not be permanent display, only till 20th Feb! GO GET URS NOW.
Colour and go is at SGD2.90 while Metallics at SGD4.50! (Magnet sold separately at SGD3.90!) Matt topcoat is available as well!! :D :D

Will show my haul at a next picture heavy HAULAGE post. trust me, I spent quite a bit!

Also, I will be blogging about a Black Shatter dupe and more exciting shatter colours I found in a local online business. It is from Taiwan and does not stink like hell (referring to polishes MIC or that contains bad bad chemicals!) This is 3-free! :D Im sooo excited!

I have also come across a shop at City Square Mall (by Farrer Park MRT) called Superwoman, that sells KONAD polishes (the full range) and plates and sets! :D Image disks are at SGD 7.90 which is same as that at BeadtleSweet (you can google for their webpage). I get my rhinestones from BeadtleSweet as well :D

Also, if you have already heard, I'll be working at BeautyAsia Tradeshow this coming 21st - 23rd Feb. The last day, from 3pm onwards, the tradeshow will be opened to public! Do come on down and try your luck at Nfu-Ohs :D Essie's will be sold at SGD16 (recommended retail price) ;) This is all i know for now! Will update more when I attend the briefing :)

What? Im too sensitive?!

Yep. I am diagnosed with sensitive skin. LOL. Im still in a state of denial but now it makes sense.

I am clearing out my TBS Seaweed series of skincare and Im using Hado Labo instead. So far so good. Still waiting for the moisturizer to arrive and then I'll see how it goes.

I hope I can use my newly acquired VS, LUSH and BBW lotions and body washes. Doc told me to avoid heavily fragranced items, dusty environments and furry items (inclusive Stompy!). Dang. Not exactly the best news ever I know, but I will survive it and I will heal!! :D

Got me some antibiotics and a cream to apply on those 'breakout spots'.

My body hurts so bad when i woke today. The spots are heavily infected and at strategic parts of my body, I cant lie down, sit down, place my arms on the table without care! Hurts so much I didnt allow my bf to come too near me. Plus it rained all evening. Chilly weather again!

On a good note, Im making some progress with scheduling interviews for my project :D Now I just need to make sure my iphone can playback long stretches of recordings... hmm. Test drive it tomorrow!

Uppity-date!

Off to a pretty slow start this 2011, am still having my holidays but Ive been trying to get busy with my project going underway...
Nails-wise, Im only at my 2nd manicure of 2011! Blasphemous! :P Pics will be up real soon I promise :)

My body is kinda in a disarray, with the chilly weather here making things much worse. Started off with a bad bout of eczema on my left arm and leg... now it's that and boils, pretty much all over my body. Not helping that I picked out pretty clothes for the Lunar New Year that I probably cant wear... Sigh.

Anti-bacterial washes and antiseptic creams have accompanied me with LUSH Dream Cream for scaly areas... Even tried Emu Oil. Im gonna be at my wits' end, then I will go see a doc. I have a thing (not) for docs. Inherent mistrust? :/ Shrugs. I avoid them like the plague.

I have been sleeping pretty well lately but just tonight, I got awoken by the itchiness and hunger... so now, I have been already awake since 4am. HA. *shakes head*

I hope positive energy will begin to *heal* me :)
It's the weekends! I dont have much plans, am gonna start working at a nail polish shop and also at a Beauty Asia tradeshow this Feb ;) I PRAY FOR NFU.OHs and TINS :D means I gotta start saving up! hehe

See? Positive Energy :P

Time flies... am I looking forward to 2011?

Wow, 2010 has been pretty eventful.
Did not start out on a great note when I found out that an acquaintance had passed away... Morbid thoughts sink in, naturally. And now that i'm 22, funerals and weddings are plausible events...
Went for a Primary School friend's wedding in Jakarta this May too, with 2 other close friends. It was great fun, dressing up and trying to look good...

It was a rare chance to get out of the country too... :)

I started this blog in April, some days after my 22nd birthday.. and look where I am now! I derive great pleasure sharing my manis and having plentiful of encouragement from everywhere. And I learn more too :) Felt more focus and purposeful since I started blogging...

This year I also bought quite a few Mandopop and Cantopop Concert DVDs. I love music a lot. A pity I can read scores or have natural talent on instruments lol. But I love listening to music. Everywhere I go, and recently, whatever Im doing! ;P 

My purchases also included an increase (exponential, mind you) of nail polishes!!! I have just gotten a Helmer, courtesy of my parents of course, and have filled 3 and a half shelves of them. Just polishes, treatments, Seche Vites etc and tools are elsewhere! Pretty impressive huh!! 

I am also more interested in makeup this year and skincare. I have to start looking my age instead of looking older than my elder sister! >.< I get that tooooo much. Not helping that my bf who is a decade older, looks much younger than me! >.< Started using toners again and it helped shrink my enlarged pores. For one, I love to scrutinize the flecks of *eeew* on Biore/mud nose packs hehehehe after I pulled them off my nose! :D heh!

I am also weening myself off The Bodyshop addiction! Looking more to their skincare now and stopped myself from getting more showergels. I have enough to last me till they expire in 2013! >.<

I have also been on a roll this year, winning 3 giveaways here and more in local giveaways. *wow* time to give back the love in 2011!! :D

Studies wise, things have been good, Im still in the groove... just that I have to buck up and get my Final Year Project going... *sulks* 

Been losing some steam and focus lately, and everyday is kinda a torture of sorts. Motivating myself aint easy,  but I gotta start somewhere. Cutting down tasks to step-by-step chunks are gonna be helpful!! 

Comparing 2009 and 2010, I have moved on a lot. From destructive relationships and people whom I now realise their true nature... I am proud to be where I am today. Funny thing is how so many of my friends have been commenting on how blissful I look in photos and asking whether bells are ringingggg.... :/

I have loads to learn, long way to go. I have been giving hell to my bf, to be brutally honest. And he has been the sweetest one ever, to me. Always. Without fail. If not, it's accidental. I am blessed. :) And so, I gotta buck up and be responsible towards him and us...

2011?

Wow, it's a big year for me. I am graduating in 7 months and then, maybe take a trip elsewhere to see the world in its state and then get to work. A routine may be good for me... I can only hope I meet great people and be disciplined myself! 

I am also planning to take up a Diploma and be a certified nail technician... :) And venture to have a home salon for days Im off work and all geared up to prettify others' nails ;P 

Most importantly, I hope to be around for people who need me, even Stompy. He is getting no younger and often I get nightmares that I wake up to find him motionless... Such a day will arrive, but till then, he's my awesome rabbit! Dont think I'll have another...

It is finally time to grow up, Jamie. and taking care of myself, inside and out. 

On a lighter note, I have done my NYE mani and pedi! Looking bling-tastic! But I dont really have made any confirmed plans with bf though... But i'll be rocking them anyways! :P
