Lemony Ombre with a twist!

Used 5 different polishes for this look...

Thumb: Barry M Lemon Ice Cream (thin formula, needed 3 coats), Nature Republic's GR 602 (paler green than in photo, think apple green), The Faceshop's YL 701, Elianto's Yellow/#23, Essence's Sundancer :)

See the sheet marks there? LOL The pastels were kinda hard to apply, a little thick so my layers became pretty uneven. Maybe a little thinner might do the trick? :/

2nd and I was kinda bored... so I added stuff*

The lighter green on thumb is Essence's Check Me Out, the darker green on index is Essie's Pretty Edgy, the orange on 4th finger is The Faceshop's OR201 and the blue is The Faceshop's BL601..

*phew*

and tadah! I had fun doing this, although I changed my mani that evening LOL.

I relied on some lousy nail guides meant for French nails. The sides kept lifting as it dont adhere well to my nail, or maybe my nails are too curved? :/

Lasted me 4 days, no joke! Stayed on pretty well! 

Xmas Manicure #9: Butterscotch Sparkle feat. MISA Hot Butterscotch

with a splash of Caerphilly's orange glitter.

Hot Butterscotch has very nice subtle golden shimmer on the burnt orange colour. But I felt the colour does not look so flattering on me. This is going to my purge stash. 

Yes, I am setting up a purge stash! Im hoarding many items.. tsk.

Xmas Manicure #8: Special Edition! Tron inspired nails!

Are you able to spot the N in TRON on my nails? :)

Thought the movie was cool so I did my nails based on the movie's colours  :D

Used Daiso Black Stripper Brush and Elianto's neon orange colour and THE FACESHOP's pastel blue :) 

Xmas Manicure #6: Candy Wonderland!

A really simple and cheery looking manicure that I did with:

1) The Skinfood Pedicure Sparkle in #11

2) added a coat of Elianto Shine Opal (for a very slight blue tint)

3) sugar coating ladybug glitter by doodlebug design inc., sprinkled on the tips

and then manually placing

4) some hex iridescent (red/green) and 5) crystal rhinestones :)

Sealed them in with Seche Vite that turned the glitters more orange than red :)

Hope you like this one! It is very sparkly in the sun, I love it!

Wakes up my body in the morning with this shower! Great for a bath before exams hehe :)

Orly Ole + Blue Striper mani

Ole - a bright, almost neon orange/coral shade. love how it looks a like a  pink and sometimes an orange under different lights :)

 I used Daiso blue stripers for some free hand nail art. I thought my long nails with Ole looked a little too much so I used the nail art to 'break it down' a little :)

What do you think of it?

Holo skittles which means a comparison :D

I did a holo skittles cuz I wanted to break in all my Daiso holo polishes at one go!

Red holo :) no. 7

From bottom up:

Black/charcoal holo no. 10

Green holo - From Beauty Credit GN06

Blue holo: no. 9

Silver with some iridescent shimmer with holo: no. 8

China Glaze GR8,  a gold holo, least scattered holo!

From left:

Purple holo: no. 4

Pink holo: no. 3

Beige/orange holo: no. 6

Darker orange holo?: no. 1

As you can tell, Im lacking 2 more Daiso holos :) Havent had the patience to remember the numbers im lacking :P

My mother and sister loved some of them and had me do a mani or two for them with these! :D

What do you think of these?

Daiso holos costs 2SGD for about 5ml, a little pricey but the effect is really not too bad! Granted, it is more scattered holo. Even Beauty Credit has a tad more rainbowy effect in the sun, but Daiso holos apply without streakiness! 2 coats are good. If too thick, due to people testing them in stores, some thinner will do the trick!

French Attempt + some Suede + Zoya surprise!

 I suck at French... manicure that is. Tried for a look with longer with tips and less nailbed. hmm. 

 Added a coat of NYX Girls French Nude. 

 Then with some Nail Sparks from Daiso. Really pretty polish with multi coloured sparkles in a nude french base. 

Then I took it off. Smudged :P and I didnt feel up to it.

 Final look after I tried some Color Club's Wild and Willing... Ugh. Was lazy to find a good opaque base... :P So took out my 2 untried Suedes. You'll Always Have Paris and You Dont Know Jacques. Im sticking to French, you see. LOL

 Index fingers are glossed with Seche Vite
