Stardusted nails part 2

long awaited sequel :P

really sparkly in the sun due to the Pink Topaz number from Etude House LUCIDarling nails collection i added all over the nail.

mixure of LA Girls Rockstar lacquers, Double Platinum for the holo glitter, Live on Stage for the tips, and also some Ottie Oriental Glitter :)  

looks very much better in natural light... kinda regretted layering the Pink Topaz on, made it a tad too blingy :( but overall, understated bling ;) loved it!

I used: OPI Curry Up! Dont be late and City Girl's gold as well. For the thumb and little finger I used L.A Girls Live on Stage and also Winmax pedicure in gold hexagon and round glitter! I love the overall look, seems to belong in a set eh? I think Im improving a little hehe.

But for the right hand :/

Looks horrendous! lol. not so bad in real life as the colours seem to blend in a little bit more. The base is Kitoko Kalani's 1243e, a pale peach colour with gold shimmer and topped with L.A Girl's Electric Guitar. Ugh. :(

L.A Girls Rockstar glitters are awesome for layering :) and the base colours arent so unique so it is easier to find colours to layer over!

I am glad for the Daiso Winmax find :) For a cheap 2SGD, the gold hex and round glitter is bright and loud! Great for accents. Many glitter in just one stroke. The brush picks up the glitter in the bottle easily too :)

OPI is sheer! Much sheerer than the City Girl's gold. A local drugstore brand. A cheap 2.50SGD polish, if I am not mistaken. Both are not super brush strokey. The shine is pretty :)

The one on the left is: Galaxy charcoal brown
On the right: Planet Chocolate

Very fall :) As the bottles are shaped like a jewel with 8 panels to them, the colours dont really show well. In the bottle, Planet Chocolate seems more red while Galaxy seems more dusty purple...
These nail wheel swatches are taken in bright sunlight! The shimmers are lovely... No topcoat.

High Society has a definite lavender tone to it. While Chinchilly is more true grey. Both are with brown undertones I would say.

The magical thing about ranting it off and getting it off my chest and (to add a cherry on top!) receive lovely comments and concern... is that Im feeling better already! Even if things arent looking up by each day :)



Have decided to go with the lime green :) it is so super sparkly that... IM IN LOVE WITH IT.
and I have also used happyberrynaiad's gift from June, a S-he green glitter to accent the lefties :D

think of it as a very apple green but very shimmery! it blinds me in the strong sunlight and i love it! it distracts me from the unhappiness that crawls up on me..

Ahh how i love this hobby :)

My bf prefers the one with the glitter, but im undecided lol. Im kinda dreading the removal process :/ maybe it is because ive switched to non-acetone removals... :/

I think this is a very special colour... and Im kinda glad i picked this up! Elianto @ Tampines Mall for SGD 5.50, application is not a pain in the ass! 3 thin coats are sufficient and dries pretty fast actually! I used L.A Girls Diamond topcoat for the one with glitter to smoothen it out. The other is just the nail colour :)

had the first one on my left hand and the other one on my right hand lol :)

Love the subtle bling under dimmer lights.. and the SKINFOOD bronze is very reflective in sunlight! though not captured here.

overall smooth application for all! Arezia took two to three coats for the colour to be like in the bottle. Two coats for SKINFOOD.

L.A Girls Rockstar layering!

Ooooh, i did my research before buying off 5 Rockstars off Cherry Culture ;)

And lo and behold! let me present to you Double Platinum and Overdose over TheFaceShop Bl 604 ;)

this is the blue! i love it for its flawless application, one coat is enough and it never dries up gooey ever! :)
taken in artificial light, it's with v fine shimmer...

taken in awesome sunlight! :D

love the holo glitter a lot! with a little tinge of dull gold... that is Double Platinum! not too hard to understand why it's named like this!

Overdose is a real overdose of glitter! round blue, pink glitter with micro silver glitter as the 'background' :) taking off is qte a pain thou but am learning :)

and its one coat of Rockstar EACH! how awesome is that! :D

love this soooo much! have 3 more to go! 

Jamie's midnight nail parlour!

I have quite a few photos tagged under this album name as above in my Facebook profile :P those were the days before i discovered this awesome online community :)

and yesterday was Vesak Day holiday here in Singapore so I met up with  my friend to do some shopping and then back to her place to give her a simple manicure hehe.

She loves darker colours, like me :P and here's how it turned out!

a very dark red, so close to black! and thats her pet dog, Elfie! :)

her pinkies have longer nails than the rest, just in case you found the photo looking weird hehe

and i was surprised at the redness when i took a photo with flash on!

303 is my birthdate! 30th of March haha :D

her base coat! 

application was not too bad, it was a new bottle so it went on smoothly for first coat but started to become thicker then. but 2 coats was needed to even it out. the finishing is awesomely glossy :) 

did some cleanup for her too, overall im happy with what i have done :D a very neat attempt on my part, although nowhere near Lacquerized's standard! hehe :D

and this concludes a very awesome yet tiring Friday! 

p.s she found the cleaning at the cuticle area rather nice, in a perverted way cuz i was rubbing at it! LOL

L.A Girls Flare- Glowing and simple nail art

a short post before Im back to preparing for my final paper...

this was done in March, been a long while :) 

it took  me four coats to get this, and rid of VNL.my right hand is the dominant hand so my nail art is on my left fingernails! lol

i used the back of a toothpick to dot my nails. not all are evenly done but i like it that way :) i used red and hot pink. but since it is only one coat the colours are not very vibrant. which is good :)

Red and pink are from THE FACE SHOP. 

no top coat. the dots are like braille to me :) i love feeling them when i run my finger across the nails

last shot. and a closeup. taken in flash in the evening by the beach :)

L.A Girls Robin Blue Creme and Diamond Top Coat!

I need more practice in removing my polish on my toenails :X

Here is what I have just done:

One coat of The Face Shop Whitener as base
3 coats of Robin Blue Creme L.A Girls @S$3 in my school's BHG Bazaar!
and 1 topcoat Diamond Top Coat L.A Girls

without flash, indoor lighting

Application wasnt all too good :( first coat was streaky, needed 3 to make it ok.But i think it is so thick now! and the polish tends to come together at the end of the nail... :/ 

Both bottles together now. It so happens my bedsheets match the colour :P

What do you think of this?

just did some simple nail art! i cant resist! there had been some accidents but bah, whatever :P
